Feature and Follow #6

 Here is this weeks question:

Q: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback etc?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Years ago I bought a Nook. It was the one I wanted at the time and I did get use out of it. I now own a Nook, Kindle Fire HD, and iPad and I do use them all (my iPad more than the others). But, with that said, nothing will ever replace the feel of a 'real' book in my hand. I read on my ereader at night before bed because it is backlit and makes it easier. But, if I am reading during the day I have a 'real' book handy. I also have a large library of books in my house and will never stop buying them...EVER. Hence the title of my site, lol! I can't wait to find out if there are people that prefer ebooks over paperback or hardcover, and why. Maybe I'm in the minority? (but I don't tink so). Happy Friday!

  1. Happy Friday! I prefer reading paperbacks. I love the feel of real pages in my hand. I read eBooks sometimes, though. I think they're always faster to finish and you can easily highlight the passages you like.

  4. Agreed! I just recently got an e-reader, and while I like e-books, they'll never replace physical books for me. Besides, I love to put new books on my shelves. Btw I really like your blog name, very cool!

    1. I know what you mean - there is no replacing my 'real' books. What e-reader did you get? Thanks so much for visiting - I'm following back:)

    2. Well, it took me quite a while to decide which one to get, but in the end I got an Ipad so I could also use it for other things than reading.
Thank you for following back :)

  5. Love the name of your blog!!!

I have an older Kindle that I really enjoy reading on because it's easy to on the eyes (I only use my Nook Color for night reading or Angry Birds, but I'm thinking of getting a Kindle HD because I have soooo many books in my Amazon library and hardly any on my Nook). But I love all formats fairly equally, so I can't really pick one over another!

  7. While I love print, and beautiful covers, ebooks are currently winning just due to the amount of books I can carry around with me. I may be a book hoarder.

  9. I agree with you that nothing is better than a 'real' book! :) I love buying them and will never stop either. Thankfully my boyfriend is ok with my addiction and just tells me to buy more book shelves when I run out of space, which is often :)
