At his majesty’s service…or so he thinks.

With her job and her self-respect on the line, advertising executive and reformed bad-girl Zoe Keaton heads to Italy to score a vital business deal. Unfortunately, the guy she needs to convince is the wickedly hot—and totally closed-off—Prince Dominic Ricci, who has no intention of listening to her pitch. So with the queen’s help, Zoe does the only thing that will get the job done. She kidnaps him. But the joke’s on her when the queen’s matchmaking strands Zoe and the prince on the royal family’s secluded island. Zoe vows not to mix business with pleasure—and prove that she’s more than a spoiled rich girl who bought her way to success—but when the prince turns up the heat, the chemistry between them ignites. Is it just sizzling sex, or could an Italian prince with a tragic past fall for a take-no-prisoners American?

What are you most proud of accomplishing so far in your life?
My kids. They’re the loves of my life. I’m exceptionally proud.
How has your upbringing influenced your writing?
I was lucky enough to travel overseas to many places with my family. I’m a firm believer life experience is a great prerequisite to writing.
When and why did you begin writing?
Got tired of saying ‘I’ll write a book one day’ in late 2001 and actually did it.
Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
I adored English and English Lit in high school and knew back then I’d love to write a book one day.
When did you first know you could be a writer?
When I won my first writing competition and had my name in a national newspaper at age 10.
What inspires you to write and why?
Writing is my dream job. I’m getting to live my dream and get paid for it, so that’s pretty inspiring.
What genre are you most comfortable writing?
Contemporary romance, though I have loads of fun writing my paranormal YA books too.
What inspired you to write your first book?
Saw an article on speed dating in a magazine, thought it would be a fun theme for a book.
Who or what influenced your writing once you began?
The constant striving to be better at my craft is what influences my writing.
What do you consider the most challenging about writing a novel, or about writing in general?
Sitting down and actually writing when I’d rather be reading.
Did writing this book teach you anything and what was it?
That I’d love to find my very own uber rich, sexy Italian prince.
Do you intend to make writing a career?
It is my career. I used to be a physiotherapist before I was published.
Have you developed a specific writing style?
Fun, flirty, contemporary.
What is your greatest strength as a writer?
Perseverance and determination. I never give up.
What is your favorite quality about yourself?
What is your least favorite quality about yourself?
What is your favorite quote, by whom, and why?
