See for yourself what these #1 New York Times-bestselling authors are talking about.

Sisters. Strangers. Survivors.

More than twenty years ago, Claire and Lydia’s teenaged sister Julia vanished without a trace. The two women have not spoken since, and now their lives could not be more different. Claire is the glamorous trophy wife of an Atlanta millionaire. Lydia, a single mother, dates an ex-con and struggles to make ends meet. But neither has recovered from the horror and heartbreak of their shared loss—a devastating wound that's cruelly ripped open when Claire's husband is killed.

The disappearance of a teenage girl and the murder of a middle-aged man, almost a quarter-century apart: what could connect them? Forming a wary truce, the surviving sisters look to the past to find the truth, unearthing the secrets that destroyed their family all those years ago . . . and uncovering the possibility of redemption, and revenge, where they least expect it.

Powerful, poignant, and utterly gripping, packed with indelible characters and unforgettable twists, Pretty Girls is a masterful novel from one of the finest writers working today.

After reading this book, I am not sure how this author has escaped my reading list until now. I am a huge fan of thrillers, and boy oh boy, this one is not for the weak.

Claire Scott's sister Julia has been missing for 24 years. Clair is married to Paul, and they seem to have what most would describe as a perfect marriage - nice house, good clothes and expensive automobiles. But, Claire's world comes crashing down around her, and she isn't sure who she can trust, least of all her husband, who it seems has been keeping secrets from her for a long time.

This book is certainly not for the timid. I can't write a detailed review, because this book is truly one to be read and analyzed. The criminal isn't just your average Joe, and when she writes about his actions I felt as if I was there...not a fun experience, that's for sure.

My favorite part of the book were the letters from Claire's Dad to her missing sister. You could feel his pain dripping with each word, even when he describes the good times they had.

This was certainly a surprise - I expected a good book but what I got was a great one. Worthy of a 5 star rating!
